Interior Paint Grades

All paint grades are available in any paint sheen. Most interior walls will typically receive a flat, low sheen, or eggshell finish on the walls for best washability. High traffic areas such as doors, trim and bathrooms will typically receive a semi-gloss to gloss finish.

Good: Dunn Edwards VERSASATIN® is a professional interior/exterior modified-acrylic paint that provides good block resistance, adhesion, and touch-up qualities. VERSASATIN® is self-priming on new drywall and has good flow and leveling when brushed, rolled or sprayed.

Better: Dunn Edwards SPARTASHELL® is a quality interior/exterior acrylic eggshell paint that provides very good non-blocking properties and adhesion. SPARTASHELL also features easy application with smooth flowing, sag resistance, and good leveling qualities.

Best: Dunn Edwards SUPREMA® is a premium interior, ultra-low VOC, acrylic latex paint that combines exceptional hide with superior stain resistance and washability. It applies easily, dries quickly, and has low odor. It is the highest quality interior paint available.

Eco-Friendly: Dunn Edwards ECOSHIELD™ is a premium interior acrylic paint that has very low odor and no added solvents. ECOSHIELD™ provides a durable, washable film and has excellent hide, block resistance, and adhesion. ECOSHIELD™ applies easily and its low odor formulation makes it ideal for commercial office buildings, schools, hospitals, and other closed ventilated buildings.
